Flight
Jackson Hole Airport is a small airport, conveniently located a short distance from Teton Village and Jackson. Most major airlines service Jackson Hole, including United, American, and Delta. During the summer, there are direct flights from Chicago on both United and American. If not renting a car, there are shuttles and taxis available for transport to Teton Village. If flying into JAC, we highly recommend trying to get a window seat on the right side of the plan so you can catch a glimpse of the Tetons during landing. While the views are spectacular, sometimes the wind can make the landings quite bumpy. Other options for nearby airports include Idaho Falls, ID (~2hrs away) and Salt Lake City, UT (~5hrs away). If flying into Idaho Falls, you may have to drive over the Teton Pass, which can be a little daunting.
