UPDATE: Hertz has a counter at the Airport! You can pick up and drop off cars there now.
We recommend renting a car from Hertz. Hertz has graciously provided a special discounted rate for wedding guests. (See the "Accommodations" page). Alternatively, you can take public transportation, a shuttle, or a rideshare.
We have a wedding block at Gravity Haus Jackson Hole in Teton Village. (See the "Accommodations" page). If you'd like to stay somewhere else, we recommend you stay at a hotel or house in Teton Village because the wedding is in Teton Village. Teton Village has several other hotels including Hotel Terra, Snake River Lodge & Spa, and the Four Seasons. Alternatively, there are plenty of hotels in the town of Jackson.
Either formal mountain chic (https://www.theknot.com/content/mountain-wedding-attire), cocktail, or semi-formal wedding attire are appropriate. Please no jeans.
We will not be providing transportation to any of the events. Guests will take the Bridger Gondola to the wedding venue. The Bridger Gondola is a short walk from the Gravity Haus, where we have secured a hotel block. For the welcome party, if you do not have a car, the Smart Bus or ride share may be an appropriate option for you. See the Smart Bus schedule here: https://www.jacksonwy.gov/404/Maps-Schedules For events outside of Teton Village, if you need a ride, please let us know, and we will do our best to coordinate rides with guests who have cars. There is a bus that services Teton Village and Jackson that you can also utilize to attend the Welcome Party. Ubers are also available but are in short supply.
For the ceremony and reception, if you stay in Teton Village, you won't need to drive to the ceremony. But, if you don't, there is ample parking in Teton Village. For the welcome party, the Deloney Lot (122 N King St, Jackson, WY 83001) in downtown Jackson has ample parking. For the hike, there is a parking lot at the trailhead and ample street parking.
You must take the Bridger Gondola up to Rendevzous Lodge. The gondola is located directly next to the Tin Can Cantina and JH Sports. There will be a sign for the wedding and someone to check you in.
To get to the venue, you must ride the Bridger Gondola, which takes approximately 12 minutes. Therefore, we encourage you to get to the Bridger Gondola by 5:15 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to ride up to the lodge and settle before the ceremony starts at 5:45 PM.
Rendezvous Lodge is located at approximately 9,000 ft.
Yes, an open bar with beer, wine, and cocktails will be at the wedding. However, the couple is paying for the open bar based on per-drink consumption. So, please be mindful of this and try to remember where you put your drink down before getting another one.
If you're invited to the wedding, it means we love your kids. However, for the wedding, only the two children who are in the wedding are allowed at the wedding. Children are welcome at the Welcome Party.
