Through one of my online homework assignments at Teachers College, Columbia University I had found out that Craig (a classmate at the time) also went to Vanderbilt. The next time we had class I tried to strike up a conversation because I thought it was so cool that we went to the same school for undergrad. His response was, "Yeah..." then walked away. The following week, I learned that he was teaching third grade, which I thought was pretty awesome. Again, I tried to talk to him and all he said was, "Yeah..." then walked away. For the rest of the semester, we did not say another word to each other. The next semester rolls around and we are in a couple of the same classes. We were assigned to work on a group project together. There were four of us in the group and I ended up doing most of the work. Craig said he felt bad about this and said he wanted to make it up to me by taking me out to pizza. Good thing I love pizza. :)
