Maid of Honor
"Sister" is just one word to describe Reid, as she and I have been through thick and thin together. She is my partner in crime, (mostly her causing the "crime") and she is one of my very best friends. She is one of my greatest treasures, because I know that I would not be the person that I am today, without her. Although she loves everyone as if they were family, I am extremely excited to be able to extend the love of our family to include my amazing husband-to-be.
Bridesmaid
Kari is JD’s sister, although I like to think that we get along better most of the time. She has had the most welcoming heart, as we have grown closer over the past few years. She is one of the most sincere people that I have ever met, which is why it is so easy for us to connect each time we see each other. As of June 22nd, at about 6:00pm I will be gaining two wonderful sisters, and I cannot wait for that moment!
Bridesmaid
Maddie is also JD’s sister. She is one of the most caring people I have met, as I have had the most amazing opportunity of watching her develop into an incredible mother to Ezra. Maddie reminds me a lot of myself in some ways, which is probably why we get along so well. I couldn't imagine our big day without her standing by our sides.
Bridesmaid
Reagan has been one of my very best friends, since 2nd grade! It's hard to describe the amount of amazing memories that we have together. From the curbside lemonade stands, to first cars, and adventuring off to college. This friendship is one that I will cherish for the rest of my life, as we watch each other grow into the women we were always meant to be.
Bridesmaid
Best friend of the Bride (that's me!) since Sophomore year of high school! Its fair to say that Becca has seen the wildest side of me, and still decided to stick around! We have been through just about anything imaginable, and now we are finally living out our teenage dream of being in each other's wedding. I'm happy to say we have both found the loves of our lives, and we are about to begin the best chapter of our story, so far. Ms. Hay will become Mrs. Sturgis on December 15, 2018!
Best Man
“Kav” has been my go-to-guy for everything, ever since I got stationed in Charleston. He’s been the one to help me learn how to get out, and have fun every now and then. He was also the first to tell me, “Hang on to her. She’s the one for you.” In that moment, I knew he was right.
Groomsman
With Kav, came Cainan. Cainan has that electric personality that will always bring the happy out in someone and he is the epitome of happy go lucky. Cainan is always the life of the party and he loves to dance, so we've had to allot him a couple of minutes on the dance floor!
Groomsman
Briggs and I went through basic training together and ended up being stationed in Charleston together as well. From basic to present day, we have always looked at each other as brothers.
Groomsman
Carson and I have been close friends since 5th grade. Carson is the guy that I decided to call the night before I met with Betsy's father for lunch, to ask for his blessing to marry her.
Groomsman
Gronert and I can be found one night every other week or so having sushi at Hibachi Fusion. I like to consider this a tradition that has carried on since we worked together after high school. Often between stops at work, we'd catch a movie, depending on what's in theaters. A little fun fact about us, in 2013, we managed to see every single movie that came out in theaters except Turbo.
Ring Bearer
Hands down the cutest ring-bearer ever! Ezra is JD's nephew but has quickly stolen my heart. I am happy to say that I will soon officially be Aunt Betsy to this handsome little guy!
