The eldest member of the infamous Ho gang #quadsquad, Michaela aka Chaeckle is one of Bethany's younger sisters. She is vibrant, brilliant, spunky, and full of sass, and is currently completing her bachelors at Colorado State University with plans to become a vet. She and Bethany have raised their dogdaughters, Gabby and Kalea, to be best of buds, just like their mothers are. Michaela and Bethany are late night study partners, fellow lovers of egg pudding and chicken nuggets, and resin casting colleagues.
Youngjune Hong
Best Man
Although I've never tried to record my interactions and observations of Youngjune "YJ" Hong, I feel that I can give a glimpse of the man behind the legend. He doesn't brag about what he's done or what he can do, but you can see his training in the way he moves and the critical assessment with which he evaluates his surroundings. Air Force Academy Graduate, and a military man by training, it's hard to pry details from him. He is focused, to the point, and makes it clear when he's done with a subject. Hong's skills and temperament ensure he is always prepared. His demeanor can be intimidating, but hides a deep thoughtfulness and attention to detail. He can see right into the heart of an issue, or person. A single glance is known to send hearts fluttering and knees crumbling.
Elizabeth Ho
Maid of Honor
Elizabeth aka Bitty is the youngest of Bethany's younger sisters, and also a member of the infamous Ho gang #quadsquad. She is currently completing her bachelors at Colorado College, and intends to attend medical school and pursue a career in psychiatry. When she and Bethany aren't busy people watching and psychoanalyzing passerbys, she helps care for numerous doggos as the official dog godmother, crochets amigurumi, and consumes an inordinate and possibly unhealthy amount of boba milk tea. She is Bethany's late night snack and crafting buddy and, as mentioned before, is always up for BOBA.
Chris Hirlinger

Christopher Hirlinger, forger of the Nameless Blade that separates soul and spirit, and master practitioner of Shotokan Karate. He and Yeahmoon forged their iron bonds of friendship when they practiced their martial arts together, cutting through the trees of Claremont with their lethal bodies. On the side, he is an engineer, innovating the field in the capabilities of high performance vehicles. Rational and quick witted, he will engage in deep and insightful conversations with those willing to engage. His unwavering loyalty, ability to lead, and care for others is admirable.
Grace Ho

Grace aka Grabo is the eldest of Bethany's younger sisters, and is a mechanical/biomedical engineer currently working for a biomedical startup company in San Diego. She is a talented musician, artist, and anime enthusiast. She is the fittest of the Ho gang girls by far, and when she isn't hanging with her dogson Gustav, she's most likely to be found lifting at the gym, running around the neighborhood, or whipping up some gourmet meals and desserts. Don't mess with her--she can probably lift more than you weigh!
Matthew Tambara
Groomsman
Matthew Tambara, a software engineer for Liferay, working on "portals". What is a portal? What is a Liferay? He is a man shrouded in mystery. Matthew Tambara is a man of many talents. He has an uncanny ability to win in games of chance. It is rumored he has a midi-chlorian count that exceeds Master Yoda's, and can influence the odds of his rolls. There is unreliable intel that report he is a fire shaman. These sources have witnessed his sorcery on Catalina Island, and have also reported that he yelled into the sky, "Smite me!" with no apparent repercussions. Despite such stories and abilities of grandeur, his public life is quite normal, and spends most of his time with Kumo, the triple crown winner of the Blue Steel Award and the youngest cat to win the Puss in Boots Recognition.
Kehaulani Jai

Kehau aka Kehaole (she earned this title by reminding Bethany of how haole she is) is a lawyer currently stationed in Orange County, CA, a graduate of Berkeley law school, and Bethany's classmate from Scripps College. She is the photogenic mother of the most glamorous, well-documented, and instafamous corgi @missginnythecorgi. She and Bethany are hapa-haole buddies, although Bethany has always been the paler one. Kehau and Bethany met through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at Scripps, were suitemates/hallmates throughout undergrad, and bonded over their mutual obsession with Avatar the Last Airbender and Korra.
Sergio Leon

Sergio Leon is a part of "The Boyz", a group that is notorious for surviving many dangerous encounters, some of which are known as "The Yeji Situation", "Operation Swimming Pool", and "The Letter." He is an amazing operator of avatar fighters in Super Smash. He currently works as a software engineer for SURE, the Society of Unicorns and Rogue Engineers. He loves anime, and is an avid video game player. He has a quiet demeanor, but amongst friends, often makes insightful and funny comments that highlight the ridiculousness of a situation.
Elaine Kwan

Elaine aka Lainey is Bethany's elementary/middle/high school bestie who recently completed a masters in cellular & molecular biology in San Francisco with plans to become a phenomenal physician. When she's not busy studying, you'll find her in the lab, baking up a storm, or...probably studying. She and Bethany met at Littleton Academy and were one grade apart (2nd & 3rd grade). Bethany bothered her incessantly and refused to stop following her around, even when they entered Arapahoe High School together. She and Bethany were always dead last in cross country and track scrimmages and proud of it (though most of the time this is probably because they got lost together somewhere along the trail...oops).
Babar Rashid

Babar Rashid, another member of "The Boyz". A man whose life is an ongoing experiment on human limitations to fatigue and despair. He currently balances 4 different jobs, sleeping only a few hours every day. Sasuke Uchiha, Bruce Wayne, and Light Yagami would weep tears of sympathy for Babar, a man whose life is characterized by pushing his will, mind, and body to their limits. His diet is optimized for health. His pursuit of knowledge in the fields of engineering, math, and sciences is relentless. His dedication to exercise is uncompromising. But his greatest characteristic is his dark humor that draws from his introspection and observations on life. May his laborious days live in infamy.
Stephanie Lim

Stephanie aka Steffany is Bethany's honorary little, and is currently completing her PhD in Earth System Science at Stanford University. In addition to her research endeavors in oceanography, she is an immensely talented dancer. She and Bethany met through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at Scripps, and thereafter discovered that they were dormmates. Thus, Steffany and Bethanie became big and little after many meals, small groups, Sundays at church, and sticker exchanges. They still debate over the correct spelling of their respective names to this day.
Anthony Lee

Anthony Lee AKA "Captain Fiyah", another member of "The Boyz." Anthony Lee is currently a PhD student at the University of Southern California for Media Studies. He loves anime and kpop and variety shows. He is an amazing basketball player, and an avid video game fan. Anthony is full of energy and optimism, and is relentless in following his dreams. If you claim that you are Taeyeon's biggest fan, you will be challenged to a duel to death. At one point, Anthony endured a torn ACL for more than 6 months, before getting his knee fixed by the surgeon who also operated on Kobe Bryant. He is a burning flame of energy and joy. He is Captain Fiyah.
Laurie Mallison

Laurie aka Cesca is a member of the covulture triumvirate. She recently completed her masters in public policy and is also a graduate of Scripps College. She loves dancing, tea, purple, giraffes, crocheting, rock climbing, singing, playing piano, traveling, and hanging with her kitty, Rocky (yes, named after the superior Rockies). She and Bethany became close friends after becoming hallmates in Clark dorm during Bethany's first year at Scripps. She and Bethany were accomplices in many tomato and potato-centered pranks, and if you were looking for either of them then, you'd probably find them doodling, puddling on the dorm floor, or chowing on dulce with just about anything.

Lily Spang

Lily aka Zard is member of the covulture triumvirate and a multilingual graduate of Scripps with a major in foreign languages. She's currently stationed abroad near Paris, where she works in translational services. Even though she's abroad, she and Bethany are somehow on the same sleep schedule and may be found spamming each other (+ Laurie) with animal photos or scheming up theoretical pranks for the future. She is a gifted pianist, photographer, matcha/coffee enthusiast, and artist. At one point, she and Bethany tried their hands at drafting a picture book about turtles and mushrooms together but...well, that career path didn't pan out.
Sean Messenger

Sean Messenger. Tall, Handsome. Brilliant. An Organizer. However, underneath the charisma and masterful optimization of everything from his life to his desk, there is a darkness with which Sean imposes his iron rule on his Minecraft village. If Minecraft was regulated with United Nations conventions, Sean Messenger would be a violator of more human rights than Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin combined. He is notorious for The Pit, an infamous villager prison that held so many people that it destabilized computer servers. His fiancée reports that he eats meat, cheese, and carbs, nothing leafy or green, and only accepts carrots, corn, and peas. He is an avid skier.

Amira aka Amiracle is a physician currently pursuing her residency in psychiatry in New Jersey. She is another graduate of Scripps, and was a mentor of Bethany's throughout undergrad. She and Bethany met through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and worked together on a campus publication, the Claremont Ekklesia. They have kept in touch throughout their postgraduate careers, often lamenting the arduous and agonizing journey that is medical school+residency+fellowship+etc. Both she and Bethany will forever be in training, but someday they will have real jobs...Someday...
Koa Ho

Koa aka Koke aka Chonk (and many other names) is a great pyrenees + anatolian shepherd mix who was adopted by the Ho gang after being rescued while wandering the streets of Steamboat Springs with his brother, Micah. He is gigantic (110 lbs), loveable, super soft, and full of attitude. He and Kalea are thick as thieves and always getting into trouble together. He loves picking fights with his brothers Harry and Scully by challenge dancing and taunting them with big sticks. If you're lucky, someday you'll hear his big stick song.
Kalea Ho
Flower Girl
Yeahmoon and Bethany adopted Kalea aka Lele in the summer of 2020. She is a Colorado Mountain Dog (great pyrenees + anatolian shepherd) that LOVES belly rubs and is not afraid of anything. This is probably the result of growing up with 4 massive German shepherd + great pyrenees brothers. The moment she is freed from her kennel, you'll probably find her chowing on some bark or latched onto Koa's face or legs. Good luck not falling in love with her. Sorry, she's taken.
Gabby Ho
Flower Girl
Gabby aka Rabid Gabbid is Michaela's dogdaughter. She is an affectionate 1 yr old golden retriever that episodically gets the zoomies and is often found snortling and zipping around the backyard while taunting her doggo siblings. Though she's not afraid of her enormous brothers, she is a superstitious creature and afraid of just about everything else--stairs, garden pots, lightning, rocks, you name it. When she isn't in her rabid moods, she enjoys shoving herself into cracks and small spaces.
