We love a good farmers market morning. The Mount Dora Farmers Market is on Sunday mornings from 9am-2pm. After you explored the market, make sure to explore the shops and restaurants on the main street as well.
If you are looking for a place to take a nice morning stroll by the water, look no further. The raised boardwalk and trails is about a mile long and offers some beautiful views of the lake and cypress trees.
The parks are more than just theme parks to us. It is our office but it is also the background to our love story. We had our second date at Disney Springs, our third date at Hollywood Studios and many more date nights at the resorts. It holds a very special place in our hearts and we encourage you to experience the magic as well. Walt Disney World is about 45 minutes south of Mount Dora.
We mostly visit during the Halloween season but anytime is a good time to visit Universal. The Mardi Gras celebrations which occur during the months of February and March, are full of fun, color, and beads. They also recently opened up Epic Universe which is incredibly well themed and the food is amazing! We highly suggesting checking out the mac and cheese bread cones from the How to Train Your Dragon realm. Universal Studios is about 40 minutes south of Mount Dora.
