We matched on Bumble in late 2023 which lead to a few weeks of messaging back and forth. While getting to know each other we discovered we are from the same small hometown while both working in Florida. They say what is meant for you will come to you and I guess that is exactly what happened with us. We met at the exact right time. During the course of our relationship we have adopted two cats, Georgie and Frankie, moved in together, had many Disney dates and discovered what it is really like to fall in love with your best friend. In May of 2025, Kris got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life! Of course I said yes! And now here we are. Getting married and starting on this crazy adventure of life together.

This mansion was built in 1904 by the Collins family who were citrus farmers. They built the house and helped to establish the town. The house was owned by the original family up until about 3 years ago when it was purchased by the now owner and restored into a beautiful wedding venue. The venue got its name from the columns at the front of the house which were originally constructed from palm tree trunks. Throughout the home you can find some original photos of the family.
