Two shuttles will leave the Best Western at 4:15pm for Bowling Brook Mansion. Please prepare to board at least 5min early. Later, one early shuttle and two late shuttles will leave Bowling Brook Mansion for the Best Western at 9:15pm and 10:15pm.
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the ceremony begins. We plan to start at 5:00pm, on the dot.
Yes, the dress code is semi-formal. This means classier than jeans and a polo, but no need to dress to the nines. This typically includes a well-tailored suit, a crisp dress shirt, and dress shoes, with the option to wear a tie or not. Can include cocktail dresses, dressy pantsuits, midi or maxi dresses, or trendy jumpsuits.
Yes :) So please, absolutely no outside alcohol. Carroll County (and by extension, the venue) has strict alcohol laws. If anyone is found with outside alcohol, we will be charged $500, and you will be asked, by Bowling Brook, to leave the premises. The open bar more than covers you, so there should not even be a need.
We are unable to accommodate children beyond our ring bearer, the flower girl, and their siblings. We wish for all of our guests to have the opportunity to relax and fully enjoy the evening. If you have little ones, we kindly ask that you book a babysitter.
Yes! There is plenty of on-site parking at Bowling Brook Mansion, and they allow overnight parking. The ceremony and reception are at the same location, and we will have a shuttle service to/from the nearby Best Western.
Absolutely! Please let us know by March 4th, so we can help accommodate you.
