Bethany and Jonathan matched on Facebook dating on September 1, 2024. On September 7, 2024 They both met in person at the Piqua Armory open house. Bethany knew this day that she wanted to be in a long term relationship with Jonathan the first moment she saw him. Jonathan and Bethany met on September 17, 2024 for their first date which consisted of hiking and lunch at Huey Magoo’s. They were inseparable since this day, with the exception of when Jonathan is on Guard Duty. Bethany and Jonathan were officially dating on October 8, 2024 when Jonathan asked Bethany to be his girlfriend. Jonathan knew soon after that he wanted to be with Bethany for the rest of his life and asked her to marry him on January 8, 2025. Since then Bethany and Jonathan have had to learn what it truly means to be in a relationship, especially when one person in the relationship is in the military. Jonathan and Bethany have overcome many challenges that came with long distance while Jonathan was deployed and have grown closer in the process. One thing that Jonathan and Bethany are sure about is that they love each other and do not want to live their lives without not just the other in it but their families as well.
