Below we have provided information regarding the closest airports and shuttle arrangements. We plan to spend a few days in Florence before the wedding... feel free to join us!
Shuttles will provide free return transfers from the centre of Montepulciano to the venue for the Pizza Party and Wedding. Times and location TBC.
We recommend grouping together to arrange your travel from the airport to your accommodation if you are thinking of a private transfer. However, we do advise car hire, if this is an option for you.
If wanting to use public transport, there are options!
From Florence:
You can catch a tram/train from Florence Santa Maria Novella station to Chiusi-Chianciano Terme (approx 1 hr 45), and then a bus to Montepulciano (approx 15-20km).
From Perugia:
You can catch an airport shuttle/bus to Perugia railway station (15-20min) where you can catch a train towards Chiusi-Chianciano Terme (approx 1 hour 20). From here you can catch a bus to Montepulciano (approx 15-20km).
