LA DOLCE VITA 🍋❤️

We started with a swipe on a regular night, Two hopeful thumbs, and—hey, this feels right. Beth and Dec, matched by fate.. Not on Take me Out, (sorry - no hate!) Our first date was Nandos… classy, we know. Extra sauce, big laughs, and nowhere to go. Summer 2018, the heat was unreal, The World Cup on our screens, the feelings were real. From cheeky smiles, to “maybe this is it,” Somehow, slowly, we just… fit. Then Dec went and shone in twenty-twenty-one, He got his Olympic medal, the job was done! But Beth’s time came in twenty-twenty-two, With a doctorate earned (brains beat brawn… it’s true). So here we stand, a perfect blend, Of muscles, minds, and being best friends. We then bought a house—look at us, so grown, With bills and bins and a place of our own. Then Bella arrived, our cute little killer, Turning our rom-com into a pigeon-starring thriller! We’ve travelled to many places with bikes and bags, Collected sunsets and suffered jet lags, Lots of different countries, cultures and food, But it was Lake Bled, Slovenia, that changed our whole mood… Because in 2025, Dec got down on one knee, And amongst the stunning views, Beth said, “Yes, obviously!” Happy tears, shaky laughs, hearts all aflame, Nothing’s quite ever been the same. Which brings us to the present and 2027 so near, Planning a wedding with love (and mild fear). From Tinder to “I do,” - who would’ve known? Our little love story has beautifully grown. We look forward to spending this day with you, And hope for sunshine, warmth, and skies of blue. We promise forever, laughter, and cheer— Beth and Dec, starting married life here. 💛
