What platform will you be using to stream the wedding, and do I need to download anything?

Answer

Zoom - that COVID-era stalwart. If you haven’t downloaded the app or visited their website over the past year, we recommend doing so and getting familiar before the Big Day. Don’t forget to try out your camera / audio, too!

What should I wear?

Answer

Anything from PJ’s to Black Tie is Acceptable! We want you to be comfortable… but we’ve all been locked in our homes for a year without much reason to dress up - feel free to get a little fancy to celebrate with us!

Should I have my camera on during the ceremony?

Answer

Sure! We’d love to see your smiling faces, especially when we come over to the camera after the ceremony for our virtual greeting! Please keep in mind, other attendees will be able to see a small image of you throughout the ceremony if your camera is on.

Should I mute myself during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, please! Although the Zoom controls on our end should automatically place everyone on mute, we would appreciate you double-checking on your end as well!

As of now, we’re planning to record the full livestream (if the technology works as we hope!)

3:30 pm EST Login & Tech Check, Pour Those Drinks! Please use this time to log on early to make sure your camera and audio are fully set up to enjoy the wedding. Then go pour yourself a delicious drink . 3:45 pm EST Browsers Open Please join the Zoom at 3:45 pm so that we can get started promptly at 4:00 pm. 4:00 pm EST Ceremony Begins After the ceremony we will be greeting everyone virtually - please stick around!
