We met our first semester of college at Shenandoah University in August 2017 when he sat next to me in English class on day 1 and I would not make eye contact with him. He was persistent and it took him asking me out three times for me to give him a chance. Our first outing together was at an ice cream shop in Winchester. Our first official date was at a Pizza shop on the walking mall in Winchester, VA where they messed up my ordered and he quickly acted to make sure it was right just for me. Seven years later and the rest is history. We supported each other through career changes, graduate school and everything in between. We have traveled around the country and made memories at every stop. We have adopted a furry friend and have bought our first house in Maryland. We laughed a bunch, and we made sure to make the best out of every situation!

April 8th, 2024 after a 12+ hour drive we made it from Fort Worth, TX to Lookout Mountain in GA. We picked up Italian food to have a picnic on the roof of our unique shipping container AirBNB. He was supposed to propose the next day on our 6 year anniversary but he planned ahead and knew the weather was not going to be good. He popped the question at dinner immediately after I stated: “There is nothing I would change about this to make this moment better.” Then he dropped down to his knee with a sleek wooden engraved ring box. He said “I know what would make this moment more perfect, for you to be my wife. Will you Marry Me?”. Seconds later we were both hugging with tears of joys, on top of the world!
