Beer & Wine Tasting - Livermore Valley

This is completely an optional event. If you happen to be in town early, please consider joining us for local craft brews and our very famous wineries. For those unfamiliar with the Livermore, California, there are approximately 45 individual wineries, some dating back to the late 1800's. There are also 3 craft breweries and a distillery or two. We will start at our house, have everyone park, and then can either take Uber or have designated drivers. Dinner is provided after tasting, back at our house. Catered by El Charro.

Arrival

Please arrive and park near the large barn that stands by itself. From there, you will walk from the parking lot to across the road to a country dirt road to the Secret Garden. Please give yourselves enough time to walk down to the Secret Garden.
Handfasting Ceremony
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Once you arrive at Harley Farms, look for the large old barn (there are several barns on the property, but there is one that stands alone from the rest - there are no pastures or animals around it.) Park there, and then you will be directed to the Secret Garden where the ceremony is being held. You cannot see it from the road. Walk along the dirt road towards the garden. Note: Due to the dirt road, high heels are not recommended. A jacket or sweater is highly recommended - when the fog rolls in off the Pacific Ocean, it can get downright chilly, even in summer.
Dinner Reception
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Reception is immediately after the ceremony. Guests will walk from the Secret Garden to the 110 year old barn (where you parked your vehicle.) Champagne toast and goat cheese will be served prior to dinner. Seating for dinner will be upstairs. We will be serving venison as the main entree course. If you do not care for venison, please state in the dietary restrictions section below and a vegetarian meal will be provided for you instead.
Dancing, Music and Campfire with S'mores

Join us for dancing and music. If you are a musician, please feel free to bring your instrument to the event and join everyone at the bonfire.
