The Marriott is smack-dab in the middle of Kendall Square, borders the MIT campus and is just over the Charles River from Boston. It's less than a mile from Loyal Nine. Clevenger/Moore rate: standard room for $209+ tax The cutoff date for special rate is June 28, 2019. Reserve a room online or by calling Marriott Central Reservations and mention you're with the Clevenger/Moore party.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott

This is one of the closest hotels: a short walk from Loyal Nine and mere blocks to Lechmere, the Green Line subway stop. Plus, it's recent construction, which is always nice. Nicer yet? Next door to the hotel is a five-story antique market, one of Beth's favorite spots to treasure hunt. No special wedding rate for the Fairfield. The normal rate range is $180-200/night.

Parking

Unfortunately, there is no parking available at Loyal Nine. But on a midsummer Saturday, there ought to be plenty of metered spots available on Cambridge Street. Please consider downloading the Passport Parking app for your smart phone. This will let you remotely refill your meter. You may also find parking at the Warren St. public lot nearby.

Transportation

For those of you traveling from afar, Boston Logan airport is sited where ocean meets city. Public transportation from Logan is free, and there's always ride sharing and taxis. Amtrak rolls into North and South Stations, both of which connect to the local subway system. The wedding venue, Loyal Nine, is located in East Cambridge and is walking distance to Kendall Square. Closest T stops are Lechmere (end of the Green Line) and Kendall/MIT (Red Line).
