It started as all great love stories do: in public accounting. There's a never-ending debate of who was interested in who first, but one thing we agree on is Jonathan’s persistence sealed the deal. Despite Beth’s constant “it’s too complicated” or literally breaking things off after the first date, fate took the wheel. Less than a year and a half into the relationship we were spending every possible moment together. River trips with friends, romantic weekend getaways, and spontaneous outdoor adventures solidified we had something rare. Standing alone on a bridge over the Yellowstone river at Hellroaring though was when it became abundantly clear that forever was our future. It’s the moment we knew that we couldn’t be more perfect for each other and the moment we knew we would get married in a place similar to that in the mountains. I guess it really does all work out after all.
The ultimate surprise! Under the pretense of celebrating family birthdays over brunch at Brennan's (a long-time Colle tradition), Jonathan secretly had a private room reserved with champagne, rose petals, and a heartfelt proposal. Once Beth realized they weren't in the wrong room crashing someone else's romantic moment, she of course said yes! After celebrating with family over brunch came the next part of the surprise - lots of friends waiting at a nearby patio bar to celebrate all afternoon!
