BethBeth

Bride

Beth works for Colorado State University Extension as the agriculture and natural resource Pueblo county Extension specialist and also as the CSU State Emergency Manager Coordinator for Extension. She is a 6th generation from Pueblo and loves being outdoors, riding horses, breeding chickens and gardening. Her biggest accomplishment would be completing a degree at Harvard and touching either an ocean or main lake body from every side of the United States. Beth used to work for a variety of ranches and high level horse trainer barns throughout the west.

JohnJohn

Groom

John is a high school social studies teacher and Athletic Director at Huerfano RE-1 School District. His love of the outdoors and desire to help guide the younger generation brought him to the Southern Front Range almost a decade ago, and it turned out to be the best decision of his life. After competing for the Fort Lewis golf team in Durango during undergrad he moved back up north and after a quarter life crisis he began to pursue his career in education by going back to school Colorado State University, where he earned his Masters in Education and Human Resource Studies. Right out of Grad School he took a position at Walsenburg Jr/Sr High School (formerly John Mall), and the move turned out to be the best decision he ever made, because after a few years it led him right into the path of Beth Hayes, and his life has never been the same.

ZapporahZapporah

Maid of Honor

Zap and Beth have been best friends since freshman year of college at CSU. They have stayed friends over a decade and have traveled to the Bahamas and New Zealand together! They did their first ever dive experience together where they saw lion fish and tiger sharks.

KristiKristi

Maid of Honor

Kristi and Beth once were coworkers but quickly became two peas in a pod. Although they both work in different roles now they still remain extremely close and continue to grow their friendship. They have gone on so many adventures together from getting stuck in snow storms, to getting trapped in elevators, counting chiles, fighting actual fires and so much more.

EmilyEmily

Bridesmaid

Emily and Beth met through work but quickly realized how much they had in common and quickly became fast friends. Emily and Beth have always worked the state fair together and have made an unique tradition of winning squeaky toys each year at the carnival games.

DaleDale

Groomsman

John and Dale met their sophomore year of college when John blindly requested a new roommate after a sub par freshman experience. This became a blossoming lifelong friendship, and they shared many life changing experiences together. From long nights talking about philosophy, to 4X4 adventures and dancing the night away at the local country bar, John and Dale have a bond that cannot be broken by time.

BradBrad

Best Man

Picture it, the year is 2001 and two skinny 7th graders walk through the doors of a new Jr. High School. John and Brad have known each other for a quarter of a century, and even though some friendships fade over time, theirs has only grown stronger. Through wrestling trips across the state in High School, to golfing trips in College, and the untold stories of fun times in southwest Colorado, John and Brad have been through it all. Hard times can define friendship, and there is nothing that a good philosophical conversation during an 18 hole walk that can't be fixed. John is so thankful to have a Best Man like him.

JacobJacob

Groomsman

When a young group of freshman athletes came onto the High School track team John didn't know what to think, but after the first day these new recruits proved themselves worthy. After John moved back up north he was able to start a coaching career with non other than Jacob and his identical twin Jesse (now easier to tell apart than when they were in High School). This coaching bond doesn't fade, and even when John moved to southern Colorado the pair stayed in touch through Track meets and the occasional golfing trip. Jacob even has a championship belt to prove it.
