This is Beth's favorite lake in Pueblo and holds many special memories for her. This is where John planned to propose but unfortunately that plan didn't work quite like he had planned it.
Lake Pueblo State Park Visitor CenterLake Pueblo State Park Visitor Center
This is the major lake in Pueblo and flows from the mountains just to the west of town. This is a great spot to fish, hike, see geology formations and check out a lot of wildlife including bald eagles!

El Pueblo History MuseumEl Pueblo History Museum
Both Beth and John love to see museums and learn about the history of an area. This great museum is super interactive and gives credit to much of the history of the various people who have called the Pueblo area home for a very long time.

This is another great spot to do some day hiking, enjoy local food and really take in the mountain views of Pueblo, CO! Just a short ~35 minute drive from the city limits of Pueblo.
Pueblo Chiles & Frijoles FestivalPueblo Chiles & Frijoles Festival
Each year Pueblo hosts an annual festival dedicated to the Pueblo Chile and frijoles (beans) that we are known for! This is a great family fun festival of food, entertainment and spice! The festival runs from September 18-20th so you can enjoy it while being here for the wedding.
