This is one of my favorite places ever (pictured at the top of this page). It is just south of the beach the where the wedding will be held. If you're not into hiking, drive in and park in the various lots for short walkabouts (but parking can be limited, so either early or late is recommended on the weekend). If you want a good walk, you can park outside on Highway 1 and walk in. It'll just take you a while of walking through a lovely forest to get to the breathtaking ocean views.
This is just a pretty lookout point/beach that connects to a pleasant walking trail along the water. You can kayak from here, as well.
For all the clam chowder, tourist shops, and sea lions your heart desires.
Get a little history in...
There are lots of places around to taste wine if you're so inclined. The website above has a few listed. We don't know any specific ones to recommend.
Admission to 17-Mile Drive is $10.75 per vehicle. The gate fee is reimbursed with a purchase of $35 or more at all Pebble Beach Resorts restaurants, excluding Pebble Beach Market. Admission is complimentary for overnight guests of The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay and Casa Palmero. The 17-Mile Drive gates are open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Motorcycles are prohibited.
This is a giant park full of trails that basically start where the wedding reception will be held. We haven't explored the trails ourselves, yet.
This is one of our favorite brunch places. Their pancakes are ridiculous (Razamatazz being our family favorite), and I could just eat plates of their cheesy mushroom caps and calamari steak.
We've never been here, but have heard great things!
This famously beautiful section of the California Coast is fun to explore if you have the time.
