Outdoor Waterfall Vow Exchange Ceremony

Fancy attire suggested. Bring umbrellas and rain appropriate clothing.
Drew & Amanda's Vow Exchange This is strictly a ceremony to unionize the love between Amanda and Drew in a secular and non-traditional way. We will be gathered at a public park that has a beautiful waterfall behind us. This ceremony is intended to be quiet, quick, and intimate so please be mindful of the small guest list. It may be loud and wet and there will only be seating for non-able bodied individuals. Please reach out if you fit that criteria. Food and drink will not be served at this short ceremony. Once leaving the Portland Area, Horsetail Falls is en route to Hood River. A Vintage Hollywood Evening; A Love Worth the Spotlight

As a lover of themes, we are asking guests to dress as if attending a studio-era premiere or a star wedding in the Golden Age of Hollywood (1930s–1950s). Think furs, pin waves, satin dresses, & cinematic makeup. Lined tuxedos, vintage hats, and suspenders are all welcome. Avoid modern sillouhettes or trends, casual/boho, and minimalist looks. Glitz & glam is heavily encouraged but not required.
Picture an evening that feels as though it slipped right off a 1940s studio lot and into the arms of two delightfully unconventional stars. An evening of clinking coupes of champagne, speeches sharing tender scandals, and silver screen magic on the dance floor. The supper spread is every bit the Hollywood after-party: classic cocktails, elegant hors d’oeuvres, and decadent bites. Expect a celebration less like a traditional reception and more like the after-party to the greatest love story never filmed—bold, sparkling, and utterly unforgettable. Keep in mind there will be no seating chart and no ceremony at this event, but there will still be many unique and memorable reasons to join. The party will continue until 2am (in normal Hollywood fashion) so make sure you get your disco nap in on Friday afternoon. Formal wear with dark romance and luxe drama. Think gowns, tailored suits, velvet, satin, lace, and rich colors like black, crimson, emerald, or plum. Gothic details, bold jewelry, and optional fangs are welcome. Elegant, seductive, and more fashion less costume. Vampires are eternal and are present in every decade so get creative with your dark transcendent look.
Under candlelight and crimson florals, this vampire-themed celebration of our love unfolds like a midnight gathering of immortal nobility. Guests are welcomed into the night with a hearty spread of Mediterranean small bites; rich olives, savory pastries, roasted vegetables, and flavorful mezze, honoring the bride’s heritage with bold, comforting flavors perfect for a long evening of revelry. Throughout the night, multiple DJs will keep the atmosphere alive, as the dance floor awakens after dusk. Speeches will be welcomed as will gothic toasts to immortality. For entertainment, mysterious vampiric figures drift through the celebration, appearing among the crowd with dramatic flair, playful theatrics, and the occasional haunting serenade. Prepare for another late dark and romantic evening with plenty of rest and hydration beforehand.
