9:30 am - 3:00 pm
Garden attire encouraged — think sundresses, floral prints, and light, comfortable outfits. Suits and formalwear are not required, but we’d love for everyone to feel polished and picture-ready.
Our ceremony will be held outdoors and will be a short, standing ceremony. While we do have access to a gazebo in the park, please plan for an outdoor setting and keep an eye on the weather. If rain is in the forecast, we’ll provide umbrellas for our guests. The ceremony itself will be brief and sweet. We’ll be sharing our personal vows privately, and after a few quick photos, we’ll make our way to lunch at Bubba’s Seafood Restaurant & Crab House (3323 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach). Bubba’s is also located on Shore Drive, just a few minutes from the park, and guests will drive over separately following the ceremony. We have a reservation at the restaurant, where lunch will be relaxed and easygoing — a chance to sit, enjoy a meal, and spend time together. We’ll have a small area set aside for cards, gifts, and favors, and we’re most looking forward to catching up and celebrating with everyone.
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Casual Attire: If you plan on playing Topgolf, we recommend wearing something comfortable that allows you to swing a golf club easily. While we’ll still be snapping some group photos, our photographer won’t be joining us at Topgolf, so comfort is the priority here.
Topgolf is partially outdoors and weather-protected, with fans and heaters available as needed. That said, please plan accordingly and keep an eye on the forecast. This will be a laid-back after-party to wind down and keep the celebration going. Aaron and I will be providing finger foods and desserts, along with an open bar. And for those who like a little friendly competition, there will be a prize on the line… more details coming the day of.
