This is an ALL TERRAIN venue - gravel, sand, slopes, hills, etc. and you will be walking 300 ft on a trail to get to the ceremony location. Wear smart shoes. Even a high wedge heel could have ankle rolling potential out here. Recommendation: no more than a 2" wedge heel.
Salt Flats (Family Only) Ceremony: Beach wedding, loose, flowy dress clothes, sandals Rehearsal Dinner: Casual (authentic Mexican restaurant) Park City Wedding: Suit and tie with practical footwear After Party: Dealer's choice - costume clothes optional
A silent disco is a super fun and sometimes silly way to party! Everyone will be given a set of headphones that has two music channels on it. You have the power to switch between classic party hits or EDM and you can control the volume. Here's the COOLEST part - if you would rather enjoy having a nice conversation instead of dancing, you can just take your headphones off and talk at a normal volume (no yelling required). We will be playing the classic hits softly on speakers for some ambient music too. p.s. It gets silly when you take your headphones off and you can hear everyone's feet squeaking on the dance floor - or when you're dancing next to someone who is on a different channel :)
We like to party and have fun, and that often includes dressing up and on theme! The theme for our wedding is "007 in the Wild West." Use your imagination, or totally ignore it if you're allergic to themes (we'll still love you). We know this event is long and the night is going to be filled with lots of dancing - so if you want to change into something more casual, comfortable, and (potentially) on theme then bring something to change into or throw on! We're talking sneakers, sparkly pants, wigs, hats, glow in the dark, etc. (If you have been to a Hunt/Kozole New Year's party - you know what we're talking about!) We will have a drop zone where you can leave your stuff before the ceremony (if you don't want to walk back to your car later in the night).
If you are in it for the long haul and want to dance until the wee hours - we have camping spots available. There is a horse arena on the property and we will be designating part of it for campers. There will be level and soft ground to set up a tent or park your van. You can even blow up an air mattress and roll out a sleeping bag in the barn after the party ends (whenever that may be). *** Camper parking will be open before the ceremony and after the reception. Once the ceremony begins we will block off the camp parking to control traffic.*** If you are camping, please let Kyla or Matt know ahead of time so we can get a rough head count. If you camp, there is also no need to rush out early the next day. We'll be hanging around in recovery mode on Sunday, so feel free to join us!
We have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn at Kimball Junction, only a 10 min drive from the PC venue. We have on-site camping available too.
