La Jolla Shores Beach

Windansea Beach

Great place to relax on the beach or take a hike! Difficulty level: moderate. Mostly paved, some trail walking and stairs down to the beach. Keep an eye out for dolphins and enjoy the view!

Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve

A must-see in La Jolla for first-timers. Seals and Sea Lions are easy to spot (and smell) as they relax on the beach and splash in the water. Don't get too close, though!
