Maid of Honor
Alexie and I met nine years ago and she quickly became the sister I always wanted and my closest friend. She is the friend who makes you feel like family. She matches (probably exceeds) my spontaneity and we share a passion for travel, culture, and wine (ask her about Flutes and Grape and the Grain!). We have travelled together to Canada, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Costa Rica, and several destinations in the states. Be careful sitting next to the two of us at dinner, or you might find yourselves booked for a trip to somewhere!
Best Man
Two foreigners walk into a bar... Clement was one of my first friends when I moved to the United States and became the big brother I never had. I actually introduced Clement to his wife Chelsea (who was coincidentally and unbeknownst to me a friend of Becky's) and so I made them promise to name their first born child after me but believe it or not, years later they introduced me to Becky so I guess they're off the hook (their beautiful daughter's name is Maeve). Fun fact: If you speak a second language, chances are Clement speaks it too.
Bridesmaid
Kim and I met circa 2015 and if you get a chance to talk to her, you will see why she is one of my best girls. We share a love for going all out and making any occasion the ultimate experience. Kim is the friend I (still) make forts out of blankets with in the living room on girls night. She has been a special part of many of Jesse and I's best memories over the last several years.
Groomsman
Viktor and I became roommates in 2017 and have been friends ever since. If Clement is my older brother, Viktor is my younger one and has become like a brother to Becky too. It seems like there was a trend with me meeting other foreigners because even though Viktor grew up in Key West, he was born in Slovakia. And even though he's a Gator, we still love him as if he were a Seminole.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey was my first friend when we moved to Florida and we quickly became best friends. We are practically sisters having been by each other's side for nearly 25 years! We went on each other's family vacations, choreographed dances to show our neighbors (who so kindly gathered to watch us), went to high school and college together (Go Noles!), were on the same cheerleading team, we even lived together for a time... it's a forever kind of thing.
Groomsman
Alvin, too, is like a brother (from another mother). We were also roommates for a time before he moved to Tampa. He is still trying to redeem himself from all the times I've beat him (football, racing, cards, pretty much everything). He is an avid world traveler... it's like "Where's Alvin?"... maybe London, maybe France, maybe Bangkok...
Bridesmaid
Kalyn and I go way way back... over 20 years back! Her family was like a family to me growing up and she's been there with me through all of my many phases in life. It's one of those friendships that time and distance can't change and when we're together we pick right back up where we left off. Kalyn's two beautiful little girls (Isla and Mila) are our flower girls.
Groomsman
I always wanted a brother! Wesley has been welcoming from the beginning and made me feel like I was part of the family. It is hard being so far away from my own family so it means a lot that he and the rest of Becky's family have made me feel so at home. I am glad he will be standing by my side.
Bridesmaid
Cindy and I actually met through Alexie and she also quickly became one of my closest friends and confidants, another big sister-figure who I admire and adore. Cindy is that friend who has your back without question whether you're right or wrong. We've shared so many laughs and tears over the last few years - it is not easy to make friends as an adult and I feel so incredibly fortunate to have made this one.
Officiant
Ryan has been a close friend of Becky's for many years and quickly became a close friend to Jesse as well. He has been a part of many of our best memories together and we are honored that not only will be be celebrating with us on our big day, but he will be marrying us as well. Just don't believe every story he tells you!
