We ask that you please RSVP by October 30, 2023. If we do not receive an RSVP by then, you will be marked as a "No." We have to provide total guest counts to the venue and vendors in the timely manner they have given us and cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope you understand.
Due to limited space and budget, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been reserved for you.
Due to limited space and budget, each invite will allot for a specific number of family members. When RSVPing for yourself and your family online, you will see a specific number of name slots to RSVP for. The number of guests listed under your family name will not change.
Jewel toned colors will match our theme perfectly. We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Think Semi-Formal. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, and so are suits, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, dark jackets, and slacks. Dark jeans paired with dress boots and a button up are fine too.
Please refrain from wearing white/shades of white as your main attire. White dress shirts underneath a suit is acceptable. Most reception tablecloths will be emerald green, so I also recommend staying away from dark green to avoid blending in.
The ceremony will start at 3:30pm at The Addison Grove pond. The pond is located south of the barn and bridal suite. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before then to get seated.
The reception ends at 11:00pm. Everyone will be asked to head outside to prepare for the send off.
The ceremony and appetizer/minging hour will take place outside. The reception will be held indoors with the option to step outside under a covered patio, so please dress accordingly. Dependent upon the December weather, consider bringing layers. The current average temperature in early December is a high of 64 degrees with a low of 47 degrees.
There will be an open bar for a limited amount of hours. Our venue provides in-house bartending meaning NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is allowed on site.
Yes, there is ample parking. However, we highly recommend considering carpooling or ride-shares such as Uber or Lyft. In the case you choose to drive and become too inebriated after the wedding, our venue prioritizes safety and allows us to leave cars in the parking lot overnight, as long as you pick it up by 9AM the following morning.
There will be no shuttles. We are currently working on obtaining rideshare discounts from Lyft and Uber for the day of the wedding.
Absolutely! Check out the 'Travel' tab for a list of hotels in Southwest and Central Austin. If Airbnb is more your vibe, there are plenty surrounding The Addison Grove.
While we wish to accommodate all food allergies, that unfortunately won't be the case. Our caterers do provide a vegetarian option for our BBQ buffet. The mains + sides are listed on the "Schedule" tab and again when you RSVP.
Yes, the area is mostly flat with some slope. Although most walkways are paved, there are patches of grass and gravel. Additionally, there are handicap parking spaces, along with drop-off, directly in front of the venue. The security team is also able to transport people from the parking area in their golf cart.
The Addison Grove is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Austin. Take US HWY-290 West toward Dripping Springs, and turn right on Fitzhugh Rd. They are located just two miles down Fitzhugh, with the entrance on the left-hand side, across from Kinser Ranch.
