Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors on the lawn. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll have a tent so the celebration can continue comfortably.
The ceremony and reception will be cocktail attire (think dresses, suits, or dressy separates). Our welcome party is casual, so jeans, sundresses, and comfortable shoes are welcome.
Yes! Shuttles will pick up from The Westin and 1 Hotel (guests staying at nearby hotels are welcome to utilize these shuttles as well). Shuttles will run throughout the evening, with the final ride at 12:30 a.m. Rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft are widely available for guests not staying in the downtown area. Parking is limited. If you plan to consume alcohol, please plan for a ride.
While we adore your little ones, our celebration will be adults-only, with the exception of a few close family members. To include as many of our loved ones as possible, we weren’t able to extend the invitation to children. That said, we completely understand that life doesn’t always line up with wedding plans. If you are a new nursing parent or if childcare unexpectedly falls through, please reach out to us. We want to celebrate with everyone and make sure you feel comfortable doing so.
No gifts, please. Your generosity in time and travel is beyond any gift, and we’re so grateful to celebrate together. If you feel so inclined, Jake and I love to collect recipes from loved ones. We'd love it if you shared a favorite recipe with us!
There is so much to do within walking distance of the hotels, but Seattle also offers an easy-to-use Light Rail and bus system. We recommend downloading the OneBusAway app for real-time schedules. If you have a car, parking is free at the Day 1 Garage next to The Spheres after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
