Ben and Amber first laid eyes on one another in the 5th grade at Rausch Intermediate School. Amber thought Ben was cute, Ben thought she was cuter, but the spark didn't quite ignite. Five years later, Ben walked into 11th grade a foot taller, equipped with a pair of biceps, ready to sweep Amber off of her feet. They attended junior year homecoming together (pictures will not be released), and the puppy love lasted for about three months until it tragically ended with blood, sweat, tears and a pan of baklava (don't ask). Six years later, Ben slid in to Amber's DMs. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's millennial code for writing a letter and catching up. On their second first date, Amber thought it was only appropriate to allow Ben to meet her child, Teddy bear, on a romantic hike in the woods. Shortly after, she decided that Ben was worthy of her and Teddy bear's time, and a second date. One thing led to another and a year later Ben was on a knee asking Amber to spend the rest of her life with him. This wasn't random. God knew that they needed one another to keep Him close to their hearts and to help shed His light on this world. He was pulling the strings that night that Ben decided to reach out to Amber, for the second time. They attribute this all to Him and couldn't be more thankful, or blessed, to spend their lives wrapped in His love, vowing to always guide one another through spiritual growth and happiness.
