We love visiting Santa Cruz! It's only about a 40 min drive from San Jose (depending on traffic). You can spend the day at the beach, on the Boardwalk, or hiking through forests. Santa Cruz has it all!
Ridge Vineyards + Santa Cruz Mountain Wineries
The Santa Cruz Mountains offer dozens of amazing wineries with breathtaking views of the peninsula. One of our favorite wineries is Ridge. Their wines are delicious and they usually have a BBQ on the weekends. Check before you go to make sure they're not closed for a private event.
