If your formal invitation says "*Your Name* and Guest", then yes. Otherwise, we'd prefer if it was just you!

Will there be dinner served during the reception?

Answer

The reception is planned to be cocktail-style. That means a beer and wine bar, passed appetizers, and a few appetizer stations! Since the ceremony starts at 7:30pm, this leaves plenty of time for exploring all the great restaurants that Oakland has to offer just a few minutes from the museum for anyone who would like to do so. While we're hoping everyone will spend the evening mingling and dancing, there will be seating available and high-top tables to gather around.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive before or close to 7:15pm so that we can begin the ceremony promptly at 7:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, dress is cocktail-attire, meaning cocktail dresses, LBDs, and formal jumpsuits for women, dark suits or a sport coat and pants for men. The bridal party will be in long wine-red dresses and tuxedos.

Parking is available in the garage directly adjacent to the museum for a flat rate of $7.
