We're getting married!

On our anniversary, Ben drove up to State College to visit for the weekend. I got the day off from my research lab and little did I know he'd planned an entire day re-creating our favorite dates from over the years. He took me to a cute little coffee shop that I'd never been to before, to a museum, and he even found somewhere we could ice skate like we did on our first date! After a long day, we finally made it back to my tiny studio apartment. Just as I was kicking off my muddy boots, I turned around to see Ben down on one knee with our dog standing beside him. He proposed, I said yes, and now here we are! I can't wait to see what adventures we go on next!

In light of COVID-19, we want everyone to know that the health and safety of our family and friends is our top priority. We're moving forward with planning our wedding for September 18th 2021, and it is our hope that we will be able to celebrate safely with everyone. However, our wedding plans may need to change depending on how case numbers trend between now and September. We will do our best to keep everyone updated about any changes to our wedding.
