Our favorite spot in Tulsa is The Gathering Place. We love strolling along the river here on long walks, enjoying the scenery and the beautiful playgrounds, which are perfect for both kids and adults.
Cherry Street and Brookside are two of Tulsa’s cutest districts. We love wandering the shops, grabbing coffee, and enjoying the variety of local restaurants. They are perfect for a casual stroll or a fun meal out.
Turkey Mountain is the first place we went hiking together, and it is also where Benny proposed. The trails are scenic and perfect for hiking and mountain biking, making it a must-visit for outdoor adventure lovers.
Woodward Park is another one of our favorites for walking and enjoying Tulsa’s beautiful gardens, seasonal blooms, and peaceful scenery.
McNellie’s Pub is an Irish pub with a fantastic beer selection and a laid-back vibe. It is a great place to hang out with friends, grab a hearty meal, and try a new pint. Benny loves the Sweet Potato Fries and the Memphis Burger, and he always tries the Beer of the Month, while Kylie cannot resist their fried pickles.
Mother Road Market is a fun food hall with a variety of local vendors, craft cocktails, and tasty eats. We love walking around and sampling everything it has to offer.
Braum’s is our favorite quick and cheap treat. Benny loves the Peanut Butter Cup shake, and Kylie cannot get enough of the M&M shake. It is a classic Tulsa spot that always hits the spot.
Rose Rock Creamery is our go-to for a more sophisticated ice cream experience and for date nights. They have unique flavors that you will not find anywhere else.
Philbrook Museum of Art and Gardens is a wonderful place for something a little more fancy. We love exploring the world-class art collections inside this 1920s villa, which is surrounded by stunning gardens and architecture.
Scheels is one of our favorite spots to explore. We love checking out all the cool new outdoorsy gadgets, and we even rode the Ferris wheel for free once thanks to a kind employee.
