Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Birkby House in Leesburg, Va. It's 13 minutes away from the hotel (Spring Hill Suites Marriot, Ashburn). The address is 109 Loudoun St SW, Leesburg, VA 20175

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
Semi-Formal Garden Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotels?
Answer
Yes! We have a 55-seat charter bus to shuttle guests staying at the Courtyard and Springhill Suites hotels. The shuttle will first arrive at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel at 2:30 and depart at 2:45. It will then arrive at the Springhill Suites hotel at 2:55 and depart at 3:00. After the reception, the shuttle will take guests back to the hotels at 10:00pm, and return to the Birkby House to shuttle the late night crowd at midnight.

Where should I park?
Answer
Downtown Leesburg has several parking options. The closest place to park is the Liberty Street Lot, which is one block away from the Birkby House and completely free. What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend you arrive thirty minutes before the 4pm ceremony begins, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, guests are welcome to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in and around the Birkby House. The wedding party will take pictures nearby, and the reception will begin around 5:30pm.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. The ceremony will be in an open courtyard and the reception will be tented with air conditioning.

Are children invited?
Answer
We love your kids! But for this event we're keeping it adults only. (Except for our adorable flower girls and ring bearer!)

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
