We try to hit the rooftop for drinks every time we are down at the beach.

If you have fridge space, stop in at Friendly Market and grab a few apps from their refrigerator section!

No frills bar with a mean hamburger (add the chili). Pool tables and locals included.

There are SO many cute shops to hit on Front Street. RuthAnn loves Harbor Specialties and Beafort Linen Co.

Seaport Antique Market

509 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557

RuthAnn goes here every time she's in Beaufort. Spend 20 minutes or 2 hours looking at antiques.

Fort Macon State Park

2303 East Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512

For our History loving friends and family, take a walk around Fort Macon! About 30 minutes from Beaufort.

North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores

1 Roosevelt Boulevard, Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512

About 20 minutes from Beaufort and a fun activity if you have any extra time.

Hammock House - Black Beard

Hammock Lane, Beaufort, NC 28516

Beaufort has a strong connection to pirates! This house is "believed" to be where the bloody pirate lived.

North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort

315 Front Street, Beaufort, NC 28516

If you are into Pirates, the Maritime Museum has a sweet exhibit dedicated to Black Beard. The Queen Anne's Revenge Project has artifacts from the sunken ship! *The Maritime Museum is sadly closed for renovations BUT maybe it'll be back open by next winter if we are lucky :) Either way, I couldn't help but tell you about it, because it is so cool!
