The ceremony and reception will be held at Millwick, located: 800 E 4th Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90013 -- For out of town guests, there will be a Welcome Party held the night before the ceremony at "Chloe's at Golden Road Brewing" 5410 W San Fernando Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90039
The dress code for the ceremony/reception is “Formal/Fun.” What does formal/fun mean? As long as you’re dressed formally you’re good to go! But we also would love to see something fun texturally/colorful/shape-wise. Men - if you have any funky suits in the back of your closet that your spouse doesn’t let see the light of day - we’d love to see it! Remember, this is LA. November could be 50 degrees, it could be 90. Seasonal color schemes are less of a worry here, and diverting from fall colors is highly encouraged. Have fun ☺️ While you will not be ejected for wearing white, do be aware that should you choose to do so, you will be the butt of our jokes for the night and for many years to come (please don’t wear white!) For the welcome party, the dress code is “Semi Formal.” That is, somewhere between cocktail and casual. Please refrain from flip-flops, jeans, t-shirts, or anything else that would be considered casual attire.
If you do not rent a car, you will have to rely at least a little bit on rideshare apps or cabs, which can certainly add up. While public transportation infrastructure in Los Angeles is underrated and much improved in recent years, it can still take quite a while to get around.
We recommend flying into LAX or Burbank Airport. LAX is one of the busiest airports in the world, which means it's easy to get an affordable flight here. However, it is quite a hike from Glendale, where we recommend people to stay. If you fly into LAX, look into the Flyaway bus to Union Station. It's a clean, fast and safe shuttle bus that is super cheap and takes you directly from LAX to Union Station in downtown LA, where you can catch a much more affordable cab or rideshare to your lodging destination. If you are able to fly into Burbank, this is the airport of choice for locals. It's much less hectic of an airport experience and much closer to everything. Long Beach's John Wayne Airport and Ontario International are also technically options, but they are even further than LAX so consider this and plan accordingly.
