Who is invited?

We’ve chosen to keep our wedding day small and intimate, celebrating with our immediate family. For our extended family and friends—we love you and can’t wait to celebrate together the next time we’re all in the same place (hopefully very soon).

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be semi-formal garden party attire—think polished, light, bright, and seasonal. You may also wish to discreetly bring swimwear in a separate bag. After the formalities conclude, the celebration will transition into a relaxed lakeside reception. For details on other events throughout the weekend, please refer to the Schedule tab.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Most of our celebrations will be outdoors, soaking up that Austin sunshine. Dress accordingly and bring anything you need to stay cool and comfortable.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at the Hyatt Place Austin / Lake Travis / Four Points. Please refer to the Travel tab for the web link and additional details.

Do you recommend getting a rental car?

Answer

Yes—Austin is pretty spread out, so having a car will make getting around much easier.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! We’re so excited to celebrate with your little ones at most events—please refer to the Schedule tab for details.

Will there be kid friendly activities?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a dedicated activity table for our little cowgirls and cowboys with coloring, bubbles, fidget toys, and more. Kids can also enjoy the pool (with parental supervision and appropriate swim safety gear), as well as games like bocce ball, croquet, wiffle ball, piñata, and other outdoor fun.

What about swim safety?

Answer

For water-related events, please bring appropriate swim safety gear (life vests, floaties, etc.). There will be no lifeguard on duty, and children must be directly supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Please no roughhousing in the pool, no throwing of pool toys (including balls or volleyballs), and no diving or dangerous jumps.

Are strollers allowed?

Absolutely! Please bring whatever you need to keep your little cowgirl or cowboy comfortable throughout the day.

Is there a quiet place for child naps and breaks?

Answer

Yes! Janeen has graciously set aside a dedicated room for little ones. It includes a comfortable rocking chair, a compact playpen, a cozy bed for mom, and space for naps, feeding, and quiet breaks.
