Your passport is valid until the date of expiration. The only problem may be the entry requirements of the country or countries you plan to visit. Spain and most of Europe require your passport have 6 months validity remaining before they will allow you to enter.
Driving in Spain is no different than driving in America (except they are adamant the left lane is ONLY for passing, Savannah learned this the hard way). The driver side is on the same side as in the US, and all rental companies offer automatic transmissions.
Lunch is typically served between 2-5 pm. This is technically their siesta (which they take very seriously) shops close and everyone eats with their families. Dinner is typically between 9-11 pm.

Yes! Most providers offer travel plans for cellular and data. All you need to do is call your provider and tell them the dates you will be out of the country and they should be able to set everything up for you!
Yes! You will just need to call your bank and tell them the dates you will be traveling and then you can use your card as you do in the States! However, we recommend carrying cash for day to day activities as it is the more common form of currency over there. We typically carry around 50 euros for the first day of travel in case you want to grab a coffee when you land or you need a taxi. To avoid transaction fees we typically pull out a week's worth of spending money while we are there.
