Question

Is it safe to fly?

Answer

Flying is actually incredibly safe vs. most other activities and ways of travel when taking COVID into account. See the following link for more helpful information: https://medical.mit.edu/covid-19-updates/2020/09/how-safe-air-travel

Question

Is the event outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony & cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors. The reception will be indoors; however, the building is large with high ceilings, and windows that surround every side of the building will be open to allow for open air ventilation .

Question

Will we be able to watch the ceremony virtually if we choose to do so?

Answer

Yes! There is another tab on our website with a link and RSVP to the virtual event.

Question

Will there be assigned seating and social distancing?

Answer

Parties will be seated with space and in groups according to individuals within the same household or same confirmed "circle of existing contact." We will also have a red/yellow/green wristband system to help individuals navigate proper contact with one another.

Question

What about masks and other precautions?

Answer

Temperature checks will take place and are required to enter the event upon arrival. The state does not require vaccinated individuals to wear masks. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided for those that may need and wish to use them.

Question

Is there anything guests need to do before the event?

Answer

In order to attend, we are asking all guests to receive a COVID-19 test confirmed negative within 3 days before the event or to verify they have received all necessary doses of the vaccine. Tests are available for free; please check your state's health site for more information.

Question

Will food and entertainment be safe?

Answer

Dinner will be given to guests in individual servings, with desserts being packaged individually as "party favors" to enjoy at the event or at home. We will have a DJ and plan to dance the night away, but may need to have fun, celebratory activities and games in addition to a dance floor for those who don't wish to dance but still want to have fun and celebrate!

Question

What about the vaccine?

Answer

By late May, most individuals will have been able to receive the vaccine in most states according to phased distribution guidance. This may change, and we will stay up to date on any timeline shifts or concerns to share here.
