After exchanging stares for months, finally, Kennedy took matters into her own hands and had a mutual friend introduce them at the convention of 2019. Benjamin's face ever so red, he charmed the young woman with his shy and reserved tendencies. The following morning after Kennedy snuck up on Ben at his seat, they were allowed the chance to further their time together. The bond they shared from first meeting was undeniable and they took to each other in a way, quite unique for the both of them. Never had they both felt so safe and at home with a complete stranger. That evening at dinner, Kennedy promised her mother that she would marry Ben, and so, here we are soon to celebrate the marriage of Kennedy Toth to Benjamin Cochran just as was promised those years ago.
On December 11th of 2021, Benjamin, Kennedy and her family boarded on the Carnival Mardi Gras for the family trip of a lifetime. December 12th was considered the cruise ship’s “fancy night.” The family convinced Kennedy that after getting all dressed up, they had only booked a photographer for family photos. After getting a few group shots in front of a setting sun upon the ocean, they moved to each separate couple saving Kennedy and Benjamin for last. The photographer had Kennedy face away from Ben for a hugging shot while her father quickly passed Benjamin the ring box. After a moment, oblivious to Kennedy, Benjamin got down on one knee. He put his hand on her waist as to get her attention and as she turned around, Benjamin’s eyes filled with tears. After reciting all of the reasons he wanted to marry her, he asked her those four special words, “will you marry me?” A “YES” she exclaimed with a smile from ear to ear. Everyone around, whether on deck or balcony watching from above, cheered and clapped in their behalf. It had then been arranged for the photographer to take them around the ship for photos to document their most special evening and every time Ben’s eyes laid upon Kennedy during their engagement shoot, they would well up knowing from then on their love would be eternal.
