Frequently Asked Questions
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, we are required to inform our suppliers of final numbers by the 4th of January 2027.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be ready and arrive by 1pm

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is garden party formal. Our colour theme is shades of green and pastel colours. For inspiration on what to wear please look at the inspiration gallery. For men, please wear suits or a tux. Chinos with a shirt and blazer is also a good option but no jeans or trainers please.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances, please let us know well in advance and we will do our best to accommodate these.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large car park on site for guests to park. We ask that you don't park outside the front of the manor but guests can be dropped off here.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the manor, we are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Is there a bar?

Answer

Yes — a limited selection of alcoholic and soft drinks will be provided by the bride and groom. Guests are welcome to make a small, optional contribution toward our honeymoon or future home fund in lieu of purchasing drinks. We recommend bringing your own—especially if you have particular favourites.

Question

Can I bring my own drinks?

Answer

There is no corkage fee at the manor, meaning you’re very welcome to bring your own drinks, and we recommend you do! Limited supplies of wine and beer will be provided for the wedding breakfast and celebratory drinks.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We won’t be having a traditional gift registry, as we don’t have any specific gift needs. If you would like to give a gift, we would be truly grateful for contributions towards our honeymoon, or experiences to enjoy as newlyweds, or towards saving for our first home together.

Question

My plans have changed and I can no longer come, what should I do?

Answer

We’re sorry you can’t make it. If you’ve already RSVP’d, please let us know by text or email at jemma.ben.longworth@gmail.com. If you are yet to RSVP, then please go through the RSVP process to let us know.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided that our wedding day will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy a well-deserved night off with us.
