About the venue

Colehayes Park is a historic Grade II-listed Georgian manor set within around 20 acres of woodland, gardens and parkland on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Originally dating back to the 16th century, the estate has evolved from a farmhouse into a country house and now operates as a popular wedding venue, holiday home and study centre, set against the natural beauty of the Devon countryside.

About us

We met while studying at the University of Exeter and have been together since March 2021. After graduating, we chose to stay in Exeter, where we now live together and enjoy a happy life with our two cats Hazel and Smudge. A special chapter in our story came when Ben proposed on Gwithian Beach in Cornwall on 28th March 2026 - a moment we will always cherish. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with our favourite people and can’t wait to share our wedding day with you.

The Wedding Breakfast

Piglet Cottage hog roast - A traditional Westcountry hog roast, served with homemade sausage apricot and herb stuffing, King Edward potatoes roasted in goose fat, honey roast parsnips, rich port wine gravy, braised spiced red cabbage and a medley of vegetables. Vegetarian and vegan options available.

The Bar

There is no corkage fee at the manor house, meaning you’re very welcome to bring your own drinks. Wine and beer will be provided for the wedding breakfast as well as celebratory fizz. We will have a selection of soft drinks and alcohol available, but as supplies are limited, we recommend bringing your own—especially if you have particular favourites.
