COVID?

At this point in time - we are moving full steam ahead with our new date - August 27th, 2022. Currently, there are no mask or vaccination mandates at our venue, however, we will keep you up to date as the latest information is available to us.

Are Kids Invited?
Answer
We love your kids—we really do! However, in order to allow everyone the opportunity to let their hair down and have a good time, we have chosen to only allow those 15 and up to be in attendance. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share in our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

CAN I BRING A DATE?
Answer
Due to restrictions with our venue, unless your invitation states that you can bring a guest, we hope you understand that we would prefer for just you to celebrate with us!

Is there a dress code?

Yes - Our dress code is semi-formal, please no shorts or jeans!

Where should I park?
Answer
While there are many lot options, there is only one within a short walk of the union. Please note that this will be a very busy time as many students will be returning to campus, so we ask that you please plan accordingly and we recommend calling the campus or the city if you need close handicapable parking. The next easiest lot is about a 2-2.5 block walk away. Recommended Campus Lots: • Lot 6 (Helen C. White Library Parking Garage - next to the Union) - Very Limited Parking - About a 2-minute walk • Lot 7 (Grainger Hall Ramp) - About a 7-minute walk • Lot 46 (corner of Lake & Johnson) - About a 9-minute walk • Lot 83 (Fluno Center) - About a 10-minute walk Recommended City Lots: Website with Map Info and Live Availability: https://www.cityofmadison.com/parking-utility/garages-lots • State Street Campus Garage (Entrances on both Lake and Frances Street) - About a 7-minute walk Metered Parking: There are also very limited 2-hour parking spots on Lake and Langdon Street near the union that will be free after 6 pm, however, we would recommend just parking on a lot, as these will likely be full.

Is there a shuttle? What about Uber/Lyft/Taxis?

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a shuttle to and from the venue to our hotels, but we recommend using Uber, Lyft, or calling a Madison Green Cab (The Phone Number is (608) 255-1234 and is extra fun if you want to ride in a Tesla!)
