We have a block of rooms reserved at the Marriott Philadelphia West. Please see the Travel tab to book within the block.
Our dress code is formal attire, black-tie optional. For men, a dark suit and tie is perfect, while tuxedos are welcome if you’d like to dress to the nines. For women, elegant midi or floor-length dresses, jumpsuits, or polished separates are all great choices. Gowns are welcome for those who want to go extra fancy. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream, as those colors are traditionally reserved for the bride. Bridesmaids will be wearing light lavender/lilac.
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with the Marriott Philadelphia West serving as the central departure and return location for transportation throughout the day. To the Ceremony Four shuttles will depart promptly at 1:10 PM for the ceremony. After the Ceremony For guests who would like to return to the hotel before the reception, two shuttles will depart the church at 3:00 PM and arrive back at the hotel at approximately 3:45 PM. Two buses will then depart promptly from the hotel at 4:30 PM to take guests to the reception. After the Reception An early shuttle will depart the reception at 9:45 PM. Late shuttles will depart at 10:45 PM and return guests to the Marriott Philadelphia West—perfect timing to continue the celebration at the after party! Please note that all shuttles will depart promptly. For guests who wish to drive to the venue, complimentary on-site valet service is available.
The ceremony will start promptly at 2:00pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 1:45pm. For those at the hotel, there will be four first-come, first-served shuttles to transport guests to the church.
Our ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM and conclude around 3:00 PM. Cocktail hour and the reception will begin at 5:00 PM. This short break — sometimes called the “Catholic gap” — is common for traditional church weddings. It occurs because Catholic weddings must be scheduled around regular parish Mass times, which often limits available ceremony slots during weekends. We encourage you to use this time to relax, grab a coffee, freshen up, or explore the area. We’ve shared a few Things to Do, if you’d like ideas for how to spend the time before the celebration continues!
Yes! A full open bar will be available throughout the evening, featuring cocktails, wine, beer, and champagne.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off and join us for a fun evening!
