It all started in the most romantic of places - the freshman dorm laundry room at the University of Alabama. Ryan struck up a conversation, Anna promptly friendzoned him, and Ryan (very patiently) hung out in the friendzone for a whole semester. After talking nonstop over winter break, they finally hung out again back on campus and had their first date at Chipotle, where Ryan was so nervous he said maybe five words total. But as fate would have it, a tornado warning hit right after and nothing says "bonding experience" like being trapped together in severe weather. Almost seven years, one long-distance phase, and a big move to NYC later, they're still each other’s favorite person to get caught in life’s storms with.
