Looking back, it’s funny how many times our paths almost crossed before we actually started dating. In fact, there's photo evidence of Ben at one of Sydnie's high school soccer games, and Sydnie at one of Ben's high school baseball games. We both went to Rhode Island College, and didn't meet until fall of senior year. We were close to each other on several occasions - in the same places, surrounded by the same people, but somehow never interacted. It’s as if life was waiting for the right time to bring us together. When we finally did start dating, everything just clicked. There was an instant connection - a feeling like we’d known each other forever. The conversations flowed easily, the laughter came naturally, and being together simply felt right. It reminds us of the invisible string theory - the idea that two people who are destined to be together are connected by an invisible thread, no matter the time, place, or circumstances. That thread pulled us closer through all those near misses, until one day, it finally tied us together. We couldn't believe that we had been so close before, and our story could've started much sooner. It just took a little patience and perfect timing to finally pull us together.
