Things To Do

Dulwich Picture Gallery

England SE21 7AD, United Kingdom

A wonderful art gallery with traditional 17th and 18th century art collections, and frequent exhibitions. Tickets are £10, and concessions are available.

Horniman Museum and Gardens

100 London Road, England SE23 3PQ, United Kingdom

A diverse set of museums and gardens great for all the family. The gardens have a petting zoo (with alpacas and other more local animals), and the museums have art, historical artifacts, and scientific displays. There are also frequent events and exhibitions. We loved the petting zoo, despite our advancing years. Make sure that the zoo is not closed by any exhibitions if you plan to visit - as we found out the hard way! Entrance is free, but some events/exhibitions are ticketed - as is the aquarium and butterfly house.

Dulwich Park

College Road, England SE21 7BQ, United Kingdom

A lovely, large park with a boating lake and sports facilities. Nearby, Belair park is also charming, and has a children's playground.

Chislehurst Caves

Old Hill, England BR7 5NL, United Kingdom

A bus ride away from Bromley Court Hotel, these caves are fun to explore with all of the family. Prices are under £10, with discounts for children and seniors.

Beckenham Place Park

Beckenham Hill Road, England BR3 1SY, United Kingdom

A lovely park with an historic mansion, located just over 10 minutes' walk from Bromley Court Hotel.

Central London

England WC2N 5DU, United Kingdom

Endless sites, restaurants, museums and theatres to see! Many museums have free entry - such as the Natural History Museum and Science Museum in Kensington, and the British Museum near Holborn station. It might be good to book tickets in advance to skip the queue, though - especially on weekends!
