IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Garden-Cocktail Attire: Ladies anything from cocktail dresses/LBDs to sundresses & floral prints! Gentlemen feel free to wear dark jackets and slacks or suits in lighter hues! Fun hats & dapper accessories welcome!

What kind of shoes should I wear?!

Answer

A lot of the wedding takes place on grass, so please wear comfortable shoes you can walk AND dance in! Ladies, thick heals, flats, and wedges are a good way to go!

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

We have decided to not invite children to our wedding. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Yes! There is a wide range of different hotels on the Island! Feel free to google to "Martha's Vineyard Hotels! Or check out these two: Summercamp Hotel & Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites!

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

If you are staying at The Beach Plum Inn or Menemsha Inn & Cottages the ceremony & reception are both in walking distance! If you are staying at the Mansion House Inn there will be a shuttle service to take you to the ceremony & back after the reception! If you are staying at a different hotel or in an airbnb/vrbo there are cabs, Ubers and Lyfts on the Island for you to use as transportation to and form the Beach Plum properties!

We heard that part of the Island is dry! Is that true? Where can we buy liquor?

Answer

Yes, part of the Island is dry, and that part is Chilmark where the Beach Plum is. Do not worry, the wedding is not dry, there will be beer, wine, and cocktails all weekend. BUT! If you want beer or other adult drinks and you are staying in Chilmark, you will need to stock up before heading to your room/cottage. Here are a few places on the Island you can buy alcohol: MV Wine and Spirits (next door to the airport), Tony's Market, Jim's Package Store & Island Market, Vineyard Wine and Cheese Shop!
