The Rubicon Trail is one of our favorites. It follows the shoreline and leads to Emerald Bay. If you have 2 cars, it helps to leave 1 car at the end of the hike so you only need to walk in one direction.

Sand Harbor is particularly famous and iconic, but the drive is further from Homewood.
There are several boat rental places around the lake that let you rent a power boat for a half day or full day.
