Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided to transport guests from the Homewood Suites Chicago-Downtown (40 E Grand Ave) to the venue. Please refer to the Travel page for details. If you are not staying at the Homewood Suites, you can use a taxi or Uber/ Lyft. We recommend pre-scheduling your ride to ensure a driver will be available at your pickup time. Should you choose to drive, there is parking available in the parking lot near the Leavitt St. entrance. We do not recommend taking public transportation to the venue.

Will there be a shuttle back to the hotel at the end of the evening?

Answer

Yes. A shuttle will make trips from City View Loft to Homewood Suites Chicago-Downtown (40 E Grand Ave) beginning at 9:30pm. The last shuttle will depart at 11:30pm. You do not need to reserve a spot on this shuttle.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating will begin at 5:00pm, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?

Answer

As of February 28, 2022, the City of Chicago no longer requires masks or proof of vaccination for restaurants or wedding venues. Please bear in mind that while our reception and welcome event venues do not currently have any requirements, certain establishments in Chicago as well as Ubers and public transportation may still require masks.
