We have blocked off rooms at Hotel Madison, which is located walking distance from downtown Harrisonburg. Please use the provided link to book your stay with them to ensure you receive the discounted rate. This is the closest hotel option and is less than a mile from our reception location. Click the 'View' button to access the booking link. Note: On August 20, any remaining rooms in our block that have not been reserved will go back to the hotel, so be sure to book before then. If you need a last minute reservation, the hotel will still be able to accommodate you with a discounted rate. Please call Hotel Madison directly and mention the Hohman-Ryan Wedding Room Block to get squared away.
Travel Note
For guests who are flying to Virginia to celebrate with us, you have a few options for getting to Harrisonburg. The largest nearby airport is Dulles, which is roughly a 2 hour drive from Harrisonburg. To get from the airport to Harrisonburg, we recommend either renting a car or using the Virginia Breeze bus system, which runs from the airport to Harrisonburg twice a day. The bus is an affordable travel option and will take you right to the JMU campus, which is less than a mile from the downtown area and Hotel Madison. There is also an airport located 20 minutes from town, Shenandoah Valley Airport, which has more limited flight options. If you have any questions or need any help arranging transportation, please don't hesitate to ask us. We would be more than happy to help make your trip as smooth as possible!
