we're getting married!

We met waiting tables at Miss Shirleys Cafe, a favorite Baltimore brunch spot, where brother (and best man) Mikey, and best friend (and groomsman) Ryan Brooks, also worked. Our relationship developed quickly, fortified by a shared interest in music and art. That was 2011. In 2013, encouraged by her New Yorker-best friend (and maid of honor) Michelle Di Ionno, Julia decided to complete a Masters program in New York City, unsure if Ben would follow. But one year later, Ben, along with Mikey and Ryan (aka The Visions), and Michael Gonik (another groomsman), moved to Brooklyn to share a five-bedroom apartment with Julia and Kiki (her zaftig orange cat). After five years we still love living in NYC. The Visions record and perform regularly (catch them at Rockwood Music Hall next time you're in town), and Julia is enjoying a challenging accounting career serving NYC's creative businesses. Favorite clients include artists, art galleries and art non-profits. We are thrilled and humbled to celebrate our marriage with friends and family. Thank you so much for your love and support.
